Writing by Norman Pryor
This page features various poems and stories that were written by my Grandfather, Norman Pryor. Norman was born on 29th November 1929, and sadly died on 4th June 2003 from pancreatic cancer. He originally worked as a motor mechanic, but spent most of his life in the construction industry, working for Conder Engineering as a roofer and later as a supervisor. Norman was a fascinating character and came up with a number of inventions, including a new type of scaffolding. He took up writing as a hobby after retirement.
I felt it would be nice to preserve some of the things he wrote online, mainly for future family interest. Some of his work is also rather amusing - I hope others might find it equally enjoyable.
